In 2023–2024, we moved $2.47 million to build power from the ground up in Georgia. But the numbers are just the surface. We practiced a different kind of politics—rooted in community, sustained by relationships, and designed to shift power over time.

We expanded Georgia’s electorate: +640,367 registered voters since 2020, but suppression persists. SB 202 reduced Georgia’s vote-by-mail by 78% in 2022, disproportionately impacting Black voters.

The data shows us that while many states saw declining youth voter turnout, Georgia had 1.9% increase in turnout among people under 30 (as a percentage of registered voters). Target Smart further reports that almost one in five voters were first-timers – nearly 1 million people – which was nearly double the number from 2020.

In 2024, Georgia Alliance granted nearly 9 million to organizations with progressive values throughout the state towards canvas and mobilization, capacity building, election protection, and voter education.

In 2023 and 2024, Georgia’s progressive ecosystem knocked 1.2 million doors, made 1 million calls, and sent 3.6 million texts.
